Elena’s soft body against mine wouldn’t stop messing with my mind. I squeezed her waist with my hand, holding the reins with the other hand.

“Will you teach me how to defend myself against enemies?” She asked and my brows snapped up in surprise.

“What?”

“I want to learn how to shoot arrows, wield swords, and ride horses,” she blabbered and my grip tightened as my eyes darkened.

Why would she want to learn how to fight? What if she gets into trouble?

I shook my head, disagreeing with her request silently.
