EMMA’s POV :

My head felt so heavy. It took almost everything in me just to pry my eyes open.

The first thing I saw was this white fluorescent light. The ceiling and the light didn’t look like my room. I must be someplace else. I was trying to remember if I had seen this place before. My eyes then traveled to the white walls and window, and I noticed it was daylight outside.
