I froze when I heard that. Melissa was planning to move in.

"What do you mean?" Alex asked, his eyes widening in surprise.

"I'm moving in. I would like to monitor things more closely.” Melissa said with a resolute look on her face.

"You can not do that!" Alex exclaimed, shaking his head.

"Why not? If she can live here, then I should be able to as well. Besides, we'll be getting married soon," Melissa argued, her hands on her hips.

"Thank goodness you said 'soon.' Why don't you wait till we get married before you consider moving in?"

I hastened and dashed to the room before any of them...
