No! Maybe I didn’t understand what she just did now. She couldn’t be gesturing to me that my son was no more could she?

I tried to ask her to explain what she meant but the leader pushed her roughly, making us lose eye contact.

The leader made a sign to the guard and he walked up to Miriam, roughly untying her from the wood that they had ties her to.

The guard who brought in the maid dragged Miriam towards her. Mariam was in tears and it hurt me so much.

“Take them away.” The leader instructed.
