Giselle sat on the edge of the hotel bed while hugging a small pillow. Her face looked thoughtful, then suddenly she turned to Leon, who was pouring a glass of water.
“Leon,” she called softly.
Leon turned around.
“Yes?”
“I want to eat fried rice.”
Leon nodded lightly.
“Okay, we’ll order room service later.”
Giselle shook her head quickly.
“Not regular fried rice.”
Leon frowned.
“Then what?”
“European-style fried rice,” Giselle answered seriously.
Leon fell silent.
“European… style?”
“Yes. With butter, sausage, a little cheese, maybe mushrooms,” Giselle listed with a hopeful expression. “But you’re the one who has to cook it.”
