Time to act.
The meal was nice, indeed.
But I was here for more than a meal. Even, as a matter of fact, Antonio didn't want me eating. But there was no way I could play this role so well without doing things I shouldn't do.
All I could do was hope for my safety.
“So—” I looked up when I handed the flask to him. “I'm fine now. Thank you, Enzo.” I sat up and continued. “Uhm, there's something you should know. I don't know why I don't feel bad about betraying your brother.” A chuckle escaped my mouth as I sipped some water.
