Author’s POV 

After spending some time watching movies alone, Vivian finally got bored.

She stood up and stretched her arms, her mouth widening as she yawned.

“Do you need anything, ma’am?” The maid who had been standing beside her finally asked.

“No,” Vivian replied, her eyes wandering around till it landed on the wall clock.

She sighed and turned to face the maid. “Have my cat eaten?” 

“Yes ma’am. She has had her meal and she’s asleep now,”

Vivian had a slight fever, and she feigned being terribly ill so that Logan could come home. 

She stays at home throughout, taking care of her cats and her skin.
