Emily’s POV.

Yawning, I got off the bed, my mouth partly opened with my arms stretched. A faint smile crept on my lips as I slid my feet into my slippers. It’s just seven in the morning and the sun is up already, glowing in the enormous, pristine blue sky. Walking to the window, I spread the curtains apart and opened the blinds.

“What a beautiful day!” I mumbled, staring at the birds, which were now singing in a lovely thrill note on tree branches.

A knock came on the door, diverting my attention to it. My smile deepened as I strolled towards the door and opened it.
