“Why, Emerald? Is there anything bothering you?” Collin asked, his eyes flashing with curiosity. I sighed faintly, sat upright and placed my hands on his, hoping my response would satisfy his curiosity and not make him think I'm no longer interested in him.

“I don't want to get married now because I'm not fully prepared. I'm happy to have found this loving and amazing lover, but I just need more time before finally settling down with you.” .
