DAISY'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my door opening. I had fallen asleep on the bed, and now sunlight was coming through the window.

Two vampire women walked into my room. They both had long black hair and red eyes, and they were wearing dark red dresses.

"Time to get ready," one of them said.

"Ready for what?" I asked, sitting up on the bed.

"The blood ritual," the other woman said. "Master Lucian is waiting for you."

"I'm not going anywhere," I said firmly.

The first woman smiled, but it wasn't a nice smile. "You don't have a choice."
