As I sat in the cold, dark prison cell, my hands resting on my growing belly, I tried to understand what was happening around me. The baby inside me was getting bigger every day, and I could feel it moving more often now. But I was scared about what would happen when the child was born.

The Alpha of this pack had made it very clear that he wanted to kill me. He believed I was dangerous and that my child would bring trouble to his pack. But he was waiting until after I gave birth because he wanted to see if the child had special powers.
