Marcus and I had been following Nick and his warriors when we heard the sounds of fighting coming from the old cabin.

"That's where they went," I said. "They're in trouble."

"Should we help them?" Marcus asked.

I thought about it. These were the people who had been taking care of Daisy. Even if she loved their Alpha instead of me, they didn't deserve to die.

"Yes," I said. "We help them."
