"What a noodle!

Roxanne had just realized that contrary to what she had led her visitor to believe, she was not totally idle. In the next two days she was going to be busy and hard to reach. She thinks for a few seconds. The urge to let it run touched her, but she thought it best to warn Professor Kantagan.

She picked up her phone, then holding the business card he had left her in the other hand, she dialed the number. She was on the fourth ring when they finally picked up.

"Professor Kantagan?

It took her three seconds to realize she was talking to the answering machine....
