Hailey's Point of View

My nervousness intensified as he approached me.

"Don't be afraid of me."

I felt reassured when he let go of those words.

"Who wouldn't be afraid of you?"

"They're all scared of me but not just you."

"I can hurt them all but I can't hurt you."

He suddenly walked away from me. His eyes turned black.

"D-Demon, what's wrong with you?" I asked worriedly.

"Stay away from me Hailey. I don't want to hurt you."

He looked at me which was why I swallowed. He grinned that made me scared.

"If he can't hurt you I'm different from him." He deeply said.
