Hailey's Point of View

"Are we close?" I asked them.

I've been tired of walking before, but we still haven't reached the Forest of Darkness.

"Don't be bored. Maybe when we're there, you'll suddenly run away. " I just ignored Demon.

I caressed my numb thigh.

As I looked at the ground, I noticed that its color was changing. The formerly brown soil turned brownish black.

I also noticed that the roots of the tree are longer now. I feel like there is something underground.

"Didn't you notice anything?" I got their attention.

"We don't feel anything weird." Raze replied.

My hair flew because the cold wind passed through me....
