I would have talked to Demon, but he's talking to Hailey now.

I leaned my back against the wall and listened to them.

"How did Dracilus and Drake become grandchildren of the old hermit?" Demon asked.

In the tone of his speech, he seemed to disbelieve it.

"I saw the picture when Drake was young here at the old hermit's house." Hailey said.

"The old hermit saw me holding the photo and he told me everything." Hailey continued.

Hailey sighed before speaking again.

"The old hermit was ill then, so he was taken away from his grandchildren by their parents." Hailey said deeply.
