It was Monday.June woke up prepared and prepared for school. Wearing a black leggings and white tank top,she stepped out into the parlor after bouncing off the stairs.

"Good morning mom." She greeted.

"Morning.How was your night?" Vanessa asked.

"Was fine." She replied and picked an apple from the center table.

"Your dad's returning soon."

"When?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know.Just expect him." Vanessa said.

"I'll try to keep that in mind."

A horn sounded outside interrupting them.

"Must be Simon." She certified and made for the door.

"Have fun."

"Sure mom.School sucks." She replied and muttered the last part under her breath.
