I walked in to see it was a masquerade party, like what in the odds Jax forgot to tell me.

I  walked in and everyone present there stared at me like I was from another planet.

A lady almost ripped my cloth away,  thankfully I had good reflexes and slapped her hand away.

The party seemed a little odd, the entire Mansion had weird decorations, and I felt like I was being followed.

Jax was nowhere seen, I walked up hoping I might bump into him, rather I meant someone else.

"Who are you looking for?"

A man's voice rides my head back.

I ran out of words seeing how huge he appeared to be, I scooted a little and accidentally missed my step.

I saw myself falling, surprisingly a hand grabbed my hand and drew me back with just a push

I fell in the arms of a man, I looked up after getting a hold of my breath seizing Jax wrapped me in his arms.

We both stared at each other, my brain wasn't fully charged and so continued staring.

Jax pulled me away and turned back to the hefty-looking man who watched us from behind.

"My apologies dad, Tatiana here is my guest,"

Jax explained.

The man grunt's and brushed past me, right after he gave me a wary look.

He was the same with his son Jax, both had this dominating attitude, and it makes me uncomfortable.

I can understand Jax's behavior but his dad has a lot of evil surrounding him.

I know he is his dad but I can't help but feel I'm in danger when he's around me.

Jax held my hand and we walked into a room.

He shuts the door closed and turned hastily.

I had nothing to see because I'm certain he had something to tell me.

Anything Jax gets uneasy and sweaty, just knew he has something to tell or a request to ask of you.

"Tatiana, tell you for coming, I was hoping you wouldn't,"

He says.

Although he is right, I can help but feel there's something he wished to tell me.

"I know, but tell me, whatever do you want from me?".

I asked.

Jax runs his hand through his hair, I saw how smoothly it passed and thought how much gel he would have miss used to get the perfect gel style.

"Please sit and I'll explain,"

He walks me to a sofa placed behind.

I sat anxiously awaiting his response.

"Tatiana, whatever I'm about to tell you, promise me you won't say no".

Jax said.

He brings out a hand, I looked and grabbed it.

I know I shouldn't have accepted but I'm curious what does he want from me.

He grins and said a shocking word to me, please be my girlfriend! He dares to say such words

Like, how dare him.

I rose from the sofa in shock and pushed him, Jax wears a surprised glance and tries interfering again.

I held his mouth shutting him up.

We both were so close to each other, those times I would feel upset and irritated whenever he was close to me, however, this time I don't.

I didn't feel or have any signs of irritation and hate, rather I could feel my heart flutter.

What the hell is happening to me and why is it happening?.
