I toast bread in the toaster for Thea. My blood is boiling, but I am trying to remain calm. I look back at her and smile as I take a boiled egg out of the refrigerator. I remove the shell and rinse the boiled egg. I set the egg on the plate. The bread pops out of the toaster. I put cream butter on the bread and slice it into two pieces. I set the bread beside the egg on the plate.
