I carry Thea into the house. I am beyond frustrated with her. She is lucky she is alive. Jay and his band of vampires could have killed her. I am sure Henry and Debbie encouraged this act of violence. However, at this point, it would be for the best if I took Thea somewhere safe.

Thea sleeps in my bed. I hold her hand and keep a vigilante watch all night. I cannot take my eyes off of her. When the sun begins to beam through the sheer curtains, I have made my decision. I have to do what is best for Thea. It is time I leave...
