HIRO was shocked to hear about her condition. He thought he doesn't like Amaya, but why does she want him to be hers? His mind was full of unimaginative thoughts.
He smiled to his ears. Hence, Aya is smiling mischievously.
"Of course, I can be yours! I'm all yours! I accept your condition," he said and hugged Amaya tightly. She feels like her body is about to rip in half so she pushes him away.
"Alright. Let's go, Hiro. You have to take responsibility from now on," she said and led the way.
"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" he said and saluted Amaya like a soldier.
Before they even got to step one more forward, Yna, Hiro's sister, was clinging onto Mune.
"How about me, handsome?" she asked.
She was also mesmerized by his undeniably gorgeous face the first time she saw him. And just like Amaya, it was nothing for Mune because he's used to it. For so many years, people have been coming in and out of their lives out of beauty adoration. So they got used to it.
Once, Amaya fell in love with some random guy because she thought his love was pure. But when he accidentally saw her ferocious appearance, he cheated on her and immediately told his neighbor about her nature. Mune erased that guy and his neighbor's memories to stop the war.
From that moment, Amaya and Mune never believed in human emotions. They believe that people change, animals don't.
Mune rolled his eyes upward after sinking what Yna said to him.
"This girl right here, she's your sister, right?" Mune asked Hiro who was holding onto Amaya's arms. He nodded as a response.
He got even more irritated to see him do things like that. For him, he's the only guy who can be sweet or arrogant to her twin sister. Seeing Hiro replacing his job makes his blood boil.
But instead of showing his anger, he remained calm.
"I don't think she'll want to be left alone here in the middle of the forest. Consider counting her in too, Amaya," he said.
Amaya's eyes turned blue and started talking with Mune through their minds.
"This guy beside me is enough! Take her away!" Aya said.
"Are you saying I need to take her somewhere else?! SO YOU'RE LEAVING YOUR PARTNER?"
"ARGH!" she said verbally and stomped her feet while walking away from her twin. Hiro was unintentionally pulled by her because of that, so he smiled to his ears again.
"So are you going to let me join you?" Ynah asked while blinking her eyes.
"What's your name, again?"
"I'm Angelina, but you can call me Ynah!" she replied.
"Ynah, you will join, but please don't be a pain in the ass. I'm hitting girls," he said walking away from her.
Yna followed him and climbed to his back for a piggyback. He wants to resist and kick her butt, but he remains calm. again.
However, up above the tree where the four had gathered, lies the insecure bat who wants to be a fox; it's Kent. He's been following Ynah for days, and that led him to these two foxes. His blood rises as his anger instantly immerses his whole body.
"So Yna is her real name and not Angelika, he said to himself.
He whistled to call the two dumbs; Jennie and Ryujin appeared.
"What is it, little bat?" RJ teased.
"I'm in the middle of sleeping!" Jennie complained.
While Kent's arms are folded together across his chest, he transforms into a human form.
"Is being a bat a problem here, RJ? And did I disturb your sleep, Jennie?" Kent asked. Both of them remained silent.
"...anyhow, it's not the problem and reason why I called the two of you here. The twin's first venture has started. I want you to tail them and do everything to distract their mission. Make sure that Yna will lose interest in Mune. UNDERSTAND?!" Kent said. His eyes draw a circular light reflecting the dumbs' eyes as well.
Jen and Ryujin started to walk like a zombie because of the hypnotism that Kent did. He had no time to explain everything to them so he just used his ability.
IT doesn't take so long until they reached the wedding venue. Everything is ready from the pastor, best man, bride's maid, flower girls, and even the bride.
Except for the groom.
"Why is the groom taking so long to come? I noticed that the bride is starting to cry," visitor 1 said.
"Maybe he is a runaway groom. Well, she deserves it. She's a wench. I've heard that she just steal her guy from his ex. Did you know that she and her fiance is only in a relationship for 2 months? Yet he married her," visitor 2 said.
"Haha! She must've forced him," visitor 1 replied.
"What do you expect? She's not even beautiful," visitor 2 said.
A woman suddenly interrupted their lovely conversation with water and splashed it on their dress.
"OH MY GOD! YOU JERK!"
"Are you here to insult my sister? Have you known everything? Why are they even invited in the first place? My god! Both of you graduated from a prestigious academy, but neither of you learned a little respect!" she said.
"Tss, humans," I said while looking at those girls who were fighting over the couple.
"How rude. Are humans always like this?" Mune asked.
"Humans are so obsessed with bringing other people down just to keep their profile better and make them look like the higher person. But some humans are still humane. You just have to look from within," Hiro said out of nowhere.
Hiro is wearing a formal tuxedo but his hair is unclean. My god! And I'm wearing a sophisticated dress with curly hair. Our appearance must be good with other people and have to blend in.
I sighed.
"Does it bring any good circumstances after looking inside them? It just made me hate humans more," Mune asked.
"Not all humans are the same, that's why we didn't carry the same faces. Some of us may look alike closely, but none of us, even twins, don't share the same face and personality. All of us are unique. Just because you encounter an inhumane one, doesn't mean every other person is the same. Once, Mahatma Ghandi shared his perspective on humanity. He says you must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty," Hiro said.
It gives me chills. Honestly, he caught my attention for quite a while and it made me think as well.
Why do we hate humans? Because of those few people who attacked Kagome? Or my parents' killers? I don't know. But every time I encounter one from humans, it makes my blood boil.
"God! You're like a pastor, Hiro. Jeez, it's awkward to hear that from you. Yuck! By the way, I'm getting confused. Aren't you human too? Why do you keep saying that word?" Yna asked. We ignored him so she talked again.
"I've been asking these questions to myself the whole time. Why are they looking for the groom, he's been here since the moment we arrive," Ynah said.
Mune and I looked at each other with a confused faces.
She's right! How come I didn't manage to notice him? Am I too preoccupied?
Gee!
"Let's finish this," I said, wearing the hat that Venus gave to each of us, and walking towards the groom.
It's our paraphernalia to keep hidden from humans.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Why else? It's my wedding. I wonder where Minji went," he said.
I looked at Mune and asked through our minds, "Is this true? Or he's deceiving me?"
"The answer is the latter. Just hold him tight and let's get out. It's suffocating here. BE ATTENTIVE!" Mune responds telepathically.
I was about to hold the guy lazily, but Mune talked again.
"Let me do the job," Mune replied and pushed Hiro, with a hat, towards me.
This guy's eyes widened.
"Come on, big man! Stop stressing my girl!" he said and held his hand. He was about to pull him outside the wedding venue, but as soon as their hands collided, the groom disappeared.
Hiro collapsed, and his hat had slid from his head so humans unintentionally saw him.
"Oh god, help him!"
"Someone, call for medics!"
It took a minute before he woke up. But it isn't Hiro...
"There's no need for that. Let's start the wedding," Hiro said.
"What is he saying?!"
"That guy must be crazy."
"See what you've done?" Mune said and froze all the humans inside the venue, including Ynah and Hiro.
"What? Me again?!" I replied.
"It's because you're inattentive! I thought you want to save the foxes? But why are you acting so lame?!"
"I'm not acting lame! I just can't find a reason to continue this shit!"
"THEN OUR PARENTS ARE THE REASON!" Mune said.
What?
"W-what do you mean?"
"Is this the perfect time to discuss that thing? Haha! That's why you can't do your job properly," Jen suddenly interfered.
"I'm sorry, Aya. We're just being ordered," Ryujin said and teleported Hiro away.
FUCK! WHERE DID THEY GO?
"Now, it's getting worse. Take responsibility," Mune said.
"We're not yet done. Tell me what you're saying later, and I'll kick your ass if you don't," I said and teleported to reach Hiro.
I followed his smell and it led me to the forest. Successfully, I found them.
"You'll still live if you manage to kick the body owner's spirit out. He's still fighting to come out. And once he does, you're done," Jen said.
"Here, drink this. And it will help you to consume his body," Ryujin said and gave him a bottle of blood. I don't know where it came from, but I have a bad feeling that Hiro will be put in danger.
I ran towards him and pushed his chest. From there, the ghost of the groom came out, and Hiro's body lightened which made Jen and Ryujin weak again.
"Got you," I said and choked the spirit.
"W-wait! I want to know how I died!" he said while struggling.
"Car accident. You're so focused on the nudes of your side chick while driving. You deserve to die!" I said and continued sucking his energy until he vanished.
He is a vengeance spirit who's meant to be sent to hell, so his energy must be collected.
I filled his energy with the small bottle I bought.
"Wake up, Hiro," I said and shook him.
Jennie and Ryujin are getting weaker.
"L-leave us alone..."
"This is strange. I couldn't fight his energy. What is he, Aya?" Ryujin asked while holding onto his stomach, where his fox bead was placed.
"He?" I asked and smirked.
"...he is mine," I said and teleported back to our mansion, with his sweet smile.
I saw Mune and Ynah come back as well.
My god, it's nearly midnight, we have to send them away.
"Really? I'm yours?" he asked while smiling.
"Yeah, you're mine, but I'm not yours. Okay? So don't act up," I said.
"It doesn't matter, as long as I'm yours!" he said.
"Tss. You have to leave, both of you."
"What? This soon?"
"We have to wrap things up. Just come back tomorrow morning," I said and placed my lips near his ears.
"... and don't get yourself in trouble again and make me worry. Okay?" I said.
His cheeks turned red.
"S-stop it, you're giving me false hopes..." he said.
I smiled and teleported them outside our mansion.
Now, I run towards Mune.
"Tell me what you were saying a while ago. what do you mean?!" I said.
"Later that day after giving the task, the moon spirit came for me and told me the other benefits of this voyage," he said.
I got so irritated that I dropped one of our vases to release my emotion.
"JUST GET TO THE POINT!"
"She said it must remain secret from you," he replied.
Our roof is clear, so the moon can be seen from our mansion. But it's not a full moon, so my appearance is the only thing that'll transform.
I floated and my eyes turned red, the moon slowly showed its face. My body, from the bottom, started to shift.
"Don't get me started and make me mad," I said.
"It's not my decision, it's hers," he replied.
I shouted, and it resulted in ruining our things.
Mune also floated while his facial and body appearance were transforming as well.
"Do you have to know everything to accomplish one simple job, Aya? Can't you trust me? CAN'T YOU?!" he shouted, and fire surrounded him as he released his raging emotion to me.
He's also mad, but I don't know where he is coming from. I just want to know!
I sighed and calmed myself. My eyes turned gray again; their original color, and I elevated.
"I can't trust anyone."
"Even me? I'm your---"
"Brother, the only fucking thing that's left to me is my brother. But I don't need you, I need my parents. If you don't dare to tell me the reason, I'll quit and erase Hiro's memory," I said.
Mune's emotion returned to its normal state and he elevated. He ignored me and went downstairs where our basement was located.
I assumed he wanted to let me do my thing, so I teleported and found Hiro.
"F-fuck... who are you? Where did you come from?" he asked.
I knew he would notice.
And I knew it, this will be his reaction after seeing me in this state.
"...come here little girl, don't bite me, okay? Here, eat these pears. I have a lot of this, so don't worry. I can feed you all you want!" he said.
So he sees me like an animal, like a dog, but...
He didn't freak out?
My eyes turned blue and erased both of their memories.
But what is this feeling?
As I walk away from him, I feel empty. This isn't what I was supposed to feel.
But I'm feeling guilty...
