During the belle contest, she sensed that Tehilla had other intentions toward Nathan. She really wanted to know what she was calling him for! Answering the phone, Hilda had barely said anything before Tehilla recognized her. "Hilda, I know it's you. I want to talk to Nathan, not you."

Hilda answered, "Well, I'm sorry, but Nathan's still sleeping."

Tehilla's voice over the phone sounded languid, nothing at all like that of a 19 year old girl. She chuckled. "I heard that you're actually a poor brat being sponsored by Nathan, and you're staying in his house as the maid!"
