Nathan retracted his gaze and his lips curled into a faint smile. "Family? I don't have one yet."
Hilda's heart beat uncontrollably as she wondered if she had said something she shouldn't have. Feeling at a loss, she finally sat down.
Nathan smiled and brought a pot of porridge from the kitchen. "Miss Hilda, it couldn't be helped last night as I had to lower your body temperature. The doctor said you might have a fever again today but since you are all fine you should take something really light."
