“Divorce? What do you mean? What has come over you? She is not Phoenix but Camilla!” Caesar snapped, he really couldn't understand his nephew.

“You see… you married a liar!” Eric snapped.

“You have no right to talk shit about my wife. I didn't expect this from you all, not even you.” Caesar said, pointing at Eric.

He loved and cherished Eric like a son after he had lost his dad and Eric also did the same.

With this Ceaser said goodnight to his confused and bewildered mother and held the smiling Camilla's hand out of the garden to the main building.

The commotion on the air was so interesting to Camilla. She couldn't help but smile at how frustrated and helpless Eric felt. That was exactly how she felt years ago.

Annie, Camilla's step sister, was happy at first that her fiance Eric was going to do everything to make Caesar divorce his wife.

But after she had seen the love he has for Camilla in his eyes, she was sure Camilla was gonna be his in some time.

“They? Who?” He asked, not really sure of what she was talking about.

“Truly, I am not Phoenix as you have always known me as. I am Camilla Garrison, the first daughter of Anthony Garrison, the sister of Cora Garrison, the step sister of Annie Garrison and the Ex girlfriend of Eric Bennett.” Camilla said and paused as she allowed the information to sink into his curious brain.

The room was quiet and the tension in the air was palpable. Caesar had not really absorbed what he heard.

Since he met Camilla he had no Idea that she was related to Garrison or even his nephew.

“Ex?” He gasped as the shock in his tone could be sensed.

He was not only shocked but he was also annoyed. She had told him in the past that her family members were all dead.

“Yes, he is my ex. He is the one I told you cheated on me.” She said she could feel how angry her husband was.

This was something she had not experienced since they got married. Her hands were becoming sweaty. She doesn't want to kill the trust he had for her.

Caesar was quiet after Camilla had revealed what is said to be truth. He now understands what attracted the hatred.

Camilla had told him everything that transpired in her life with her ex boyfriend; he never knew it was his nephew.

Talking about her father, he was shocked that the company he was currently running was owned by Camilla.

He knew all this due to what Camilla had told him in the past.

“Anthony Garrison is really your father? “ He asked Camilla to be sure he heard right.

“Yes he is my dead father” She said as hatred laced in her voice.

He was with them at the dinning today, and even Cora, her brother. But they acted as though they didn't know her. But he was sure about the shock on their faces.

“Now I understand everything.” He blotted out his anger fuming gradually.

“Why didn't you tell me? Why!” He sneered to the surprise of Camilla and she flinched.

“Because they were all dead to me.” Camilla said almost stuttering.

“And I was thinking that I married a wife that loves me and would be accepted by my family.” He expressed frustration in his tone.

“I love you and cherish you and y_”

“You don't, I can read the handwriting on the wall, you clearly want to use my power and the fact I am his uncle to exact revenge right?” He asked almost in a ruthless manner.

“Not at all.” She answered. Truly, she was not really in love with Caesar. She was still having a small spot for Eric even after everything he did to her.

She was using Caesar as a means of revenge and that was certain, she doesn't love him despite how wealthy he is

“My mother, how will she feel hearing that you are her grandson’s ex-girlfriend and now you are my wife!” He asked her his voice calm but his anger could be sensed.

Camilla couldn't look up to his eyes; she was sure she was not doing the right thing, but she would try to make him believe she really loved him.

“That doesn't matter If you really love me, that doesn't matter but our married life.” She said, trying to sound more emotional.

“I love you, and that is the main reason I got married to you without my family approval. I was supposed to have a perfect marriage, a big wedding as that as a billionaire. But I just did a court wedding just because of the love I have for you.” He was trying to hide his feelings, but it was impossible.

“I am so sorry. I was thinking of telling you soon. I didn't want anything to stop our love for each other,” she said in a crying tone.

Caesar had shown her nothing but love, care, and attention. She felt guilty.

But could she be blamed?

“I am so sorry, I don't think this marriage can work!” He said in a very serious tone.

‘W_what?” Amy stuttered as she tried to breathe because it seemed as though the air had ceased.

She was close to revenge and taking her company. He was indeed her only hope.

“Yes, maybe we should just Divorce!” He said something she didn't expect.

“D_divorce.! She lamented her heart throb harder.
