“When did Eric start drinking to the extent of getting drunk” Annie thought to herself.

She stood frozen in shock, her eyes fixed on Eric's miserable form as he rolled around on the floor.

He was vomiting violently, streams of alcohol pouring out of his mouth as he retched.

Annie's mind was racing with questions.

Why had Eric drunk so much alcohol?

Had something happened to drive him to this state?
