Elena pushed Ariana behind her and raised her gun, the front door of the safe house burst open and two masked men rushed in. 

Elena fired twice, one man dropped and the second fired back. A bullet flew past Elena’s shoulder, she tackled Ariana to the floor as glass shattered around them.

"Into the panic room!" Elena shouted. She dragged Ariana across the floor while shooting back. 

They scrambled inside the small reinforced room and Elena slammed the heavy door shut and locked it. Gunshots echoed outside, then everything went quiet.

Ariana breathed fast and shallow, she pressed her back against the cold metal wall.
