I sat in my car outside the old Stark family cabin, watching through binoculars as Tony's car disappeared around the bend. My hands trembled as I lowered the binoculars and reached for my phone. Everything was falling apart faster than I had planned.

The voice modulator I'd used to call Tony lay on the passenger seat, still warm from use. Three years of studying Anna's speech patterns, her childhood memories, her relationship with Tony had all led to this moment. But now that it was here, I felt sick to my stomach.
