(Tony POV)

Alex Morrison's name makes my blood boil every time I see it. I'm in my office reviewing quarterly reports when Pepper knocks on my door, holding her tablet with a concerned expression.

"Tony, I need you to look at something. It might be important."

"If it's about the Morrison Construction lawsuit, I don't want to hear it today."

"It's about Alex Morrison, but not the lawsuit." She sits across from my desk. "A woman sent you several desperate messages claiming her husband is trying to kill her. Her husband is Alex Morrison."

That gets my attention. I look up from my papers.
