Dera did not leave her family home until it was only a mountain of smoldering ruin. One of Tent's guards had managed to grab two giant sweatsuits to conceal their human bodies before the first fire truck arrived. The guards had dragged the dead wolf deep into the forest, where it would be devoured by the earth within a few months.
