Deborah's smile widened. "You didn't have any difficulty defending yourself, though, did you?"

"I can't believe you're a witch," Elena whispered, her eyes somewhat starry. "That's so cool."

Sharon made a face. "It's not something I advertise, okay? But you're right, Deborah. I can handle myself."

Elena shook her head. "I don't care how you did it, Sharon. Those three are jerks. They deserved it."
