Mia’s POV

“You have something for me?” I spat the words out before I could stop myself, my voice still shaky from signing that damn contract.

My wrists burned where the ropes had been, but the two guards had cut them off right after Viktor ended the call with my dad.

Now I sat there rubbing the red marks, staring up at him like he was the devil himself who just bought my soul for two point four million.

Viktor didn’t answer right away. He just gave me that slow, cold smile again and snapped his fingers.
