I dashed through the building, my eyes scanning every corner, every way, “Selene,” I called through the Comms, “Selene.”

“Aiden,” Selene gasped and guilt slammed into me. They have helped me in rescuing Elira. If anything happened to her, that'd be on me and Dominic… he wouldn't recover.
