Fear gripped me, but I refuse to show it; I just maintained my cold face and said, " I hope your boss doesn't harm my mother, if not you all will be getting it from me soon enough, why do we have to pay for the sins my dad committed," I got no response.

" Fools, "I sat on the floor waiting for the boss to step out from the room, " If he steps out, I can't do anything to him, just mere words I can exchange with him."

After some seconds, he steps out, adjusting his clothes, " You know boy, you are not just suffering from your dad sin, but also your mom has been a prostitute for a long time, she is damn good and can never quit, your dad a drug dealer like us, since his dead someone will need to fill up space, I think I have said a lot, Green snake daughter will be back to the country soon," he said.

" And how is that my f**king business? Your time is up; get the hell out of my apartment."

" Don't worry with time; it seems your mother took an overdose of cocaine; you can go in; I am off," he replied and left with the others.

I ran inside my mother's room, seeing her on the floor with her eyes closed and the smell of hard drugs all over.

I carried her to the bed, cleaned her up, I folded my school sleeves and the trouser so I can be smart when placing the things in her room in order and also clean it.

She opened her eyes, ignored me, and took the bottle of liquor from me, " Don't throw my stuff" I got a good view of her face, I dragged her back, checking the injuries her face sustained.

" Did he do this to you?" I questioned my mom.

" Like you mind, all you do is to go attend school, be the perfect son that you are with a cold face, do you even have a heart at all, can't you cry with your mother telling me its okay, please get out of my room, my other client is coming, I need to settle the house bills."

I decided to take my leave when she said, " The Damian I raised was never this cold, maybe the love of a woman can make you different, you can leave, I wasn't expecting you to stay and talk to me."

" Mother will call you when I get done preparing the food," I said this and left.

Ellie

I applied some makeup on my face to look prettier for Damian; once he sees me, he's going to love me and wants to be with me always.

I tried searching for him around but could not find him. Then I saw Xavier though we had our secrets but not ready to spill.

" Xavier, wait for a second," I called.

" Oh Ellie, you look gorgeous," he complimented.

" Oh, thanks, I know that already; please, where is Damian? There is something I would love to discuss with him," I said.

" Oh, I left him with Nora; seems they are having a serious discussion."

" What?" he winked at me and left.

" Nah, no, don't tell me they are becoming so close; I need to see for myself."

I got to the block they are; I saw both of them from a distance, Damian playing with her with the note; she kept preventing him from not taking it, he held her waist close to him; she laughed, "this is like a romantic scene, oh no, I should be the one, not her."

She continued giggling as they continued; some students were already recording the scene, some said they are perfect together; what is wrong with them anyway.; some almost most cried. She fell on him, and he's still holding him; I can't take this anymore; I got ready to teach her a lesson.

Nora

" Hey, noisy, I need my note right," how dare he.

"Mr Cold face, what if I refuse to give it to you? Are you going to hurt or harass me, hum?" I said, frowning at him.

"Mr cold face will never get this note," I told myself.

" Fine, since you don't want to be reasonable, I am getting it at all cost."

He stretched his hand to get it from me; I dodge, " Seems we are going back to grade one, "I said aloud.

He kept trying to get it from me, but I kept dodging, I held my waist close, and my heart skips a beat," Hey, take your hands off my waist right now, "I insisted.

" Then give me my note?"

" Never," both of us struggling with ourselves when I missed my steps, and we both landed on the floor while I was on top of him; we remained in that posture for seconds unknown to me; people were recording the whole thing.

" You are not only noisy; but clumsy; get your heavy self off me now," he said.

" What did you call me heavy, you purposely did this so you can feel, and I am going to report you to the principal that you harass me and three? You try to rape me," I replied.

" You good at fabricating story; how about me telling the principal that you were trying to have me against my will?"

I noticed Ellie is walking close to us with anger; I know she is ready for a fight; I need to make her more jealous.

" I am sorry cold face, but I need to do this" I placed a kiss on his lips and stood up.
