We arrived in Port Douglas two days after we left New York City, we would have gotten there earlier but we had to make stops because the airplane made me feel sick.

Thankfully, we got an affordable hotel to stay in till we could find an affordable place we could rent.

After two days, we rented a house and we moved in, after two weeks of getting to Port Douglas we had settled, it is a really beautiful place and almost everyone in the neighborhood was nice.
