"Luna?" he asked quietly, and she hummed to show that she was listening.

"Can I ask you a question? You don't need to answer if you're uncomfortable with it." She nodded slowly, looking up at him expectantly.

"Why did you decide to leave? Why did you choose to leave me? Was it my fault? Did I do something wrong?"

She shook her head sadly. "It was never your fault," she whispered. "I chose to leave. I had to. It was for the best."

"But Luna?"

"I've told you." Luna interrupted him gently, holding up her hand.
