"What's wrong?" her father questioned, noticing the change in her demeanor.

Looking over at him, she frowned and said, "Something happened."

"Well?" he urged anxiously. "Is it about yesterday? Do you not want to tell me about it?"

She hesitated briefly before looking down at the note again, and although she didn't say anything, he still sensed it instantly.

"Did someone hurt you? Is that why you're not telling me what happened?" he asked worriedly.

"Yeah, something like that happened..."
