As if sensing my thoughts, a knock sounded at my bedroom door. I looked over my shoulder and saw my brother peeking in.

“Are you awake?” he asked, opening the door the rest of the way to enter my bedroom. “The others are waiting for us outside,” he informed.

I nodded my head and grabbed my camera as I headed out of the room.

We had spent most of the afternoon practicing. After all, there’s only so much that you can do indoors without getting bored. By dinner time we were all exhausted. I’ll admit it, I was tired too. Maybe a little too tired, but I could hardly sleep....
