“I’m so sorry Luna,” He whispers quietly. “I wish you hadn’t had to go through this. I really do.” Luna smiles softly before nodding her head in response. She closes her eyes briefly as she tries desperately to hold back tears which were threatening to spill over. The man lets go of her hands as he stands up, causing her to open her eyes again.
