Chapter 3 It’s Time to Get Married

Chapter 3 It’s Time to Get Married

Sean looked at the closed door and he was still wearing pajamas. It seemed that he was meddling again?

Lucy was sitting alone in the room with complicated mood. She would have pulled Harry and explained everything to him before. But now, it seems unnecessary.

When Lucy returned to Young Garden, Carl Hill, who should have gone to the company earlier, was sitting on the sofa in the living room. Sitting next to him was Marry Hill, whom Lucy didn't want to encounter.

“Stop!” Noticing that Lucy ignored them, Carl went to the stairs.

“What's up?” Lucy didn't even look back.

“Lucy, I don’t how your father taught you. You don’t greet us. Can’t you see lots of guests here?” Since Carl was waiting here, he naturally knew that Lucy and Sean were together.

“Dad, is she the guest you said? I don't think a woman who slept to the place where she should have been my mother is a guest.” Lucy turned around and looked at Marry on the sofa.

“Apologize to your aunt.” Carl got up and walked to Lucy.

“I don't think it's necessary. If everything is all right, I'll go upstairs and have a rest." Lucy dragged his tired body and prepared to go upstairs, but Carl pulled him back.

When she turned around, Carl gave her a slap, and Lucy could smell blood.

“Lucy, what's your relationship with Sean? Do you know who he is? How can you be with such a person? Do you deserve Harry by doing this? Judy quit and helped you. Now you are betraying Harry. They have told me everything in the morning.” Carl did receive a call from Judy and learned that Lucy was with Sean last night.

“Dad, you can’t say that. Think about what you do.” Lucy glanced at Marry Hill and went upstairs.

“Carl, forget it. She's in a bad mood now. But don't worry. I should go back, too.” At this time, Marry Hill came over and grabbed Carl.

“You don't have to go back. From today on, you'll live here.” Carl is angry with his beard and eyes.

Lucy, who was still on the stairs, naturally heard it clearly, but she had thought of it for a long time.

As soon as Lucy returned to her room, her mobile phone rang. She glanced at the caller number and finally smiled on her face.

“Lulu.” It was the old man of the Young family with a vigorous voice on the phone.

“Grandpa.”

“Lulu, you've been back for a few days. Can I see you today?” Sam listened to the his granddaughter's voice and he was in a very good mood.

“OK, I see. I'll go right away.” Hanging up the phone, Lucy changed his clothes and left Young Garden.

In the nursing home in the suburb of Beach City, Sam sat on a wheelchair in the shade of the garden, waiting for Lucy.

An hour later, Lucy drove there. She had just parked the car. A middle-aged man came over. “Lady Lucy, you're here.”

“Old Roy, I miss you." Lucy came forward and gave Old Roy a big hug.

“Lady Lucy, my lord is waiting for you.” Old Roy smiled. He started to recall the time wen he accompanied Lucy from a little girl to a gorgeous lady.

Lucy finally saw old Young, he sitting in a wheelchair.

“Grandpa.”

“I miss you.” Sam touched her head. "I haven't seen you for years. At the last time I saw you, you just a little girl, but now you can even get married if you want.”

“Grandpa, what are you talking about? I can't leave you." Lucy might have thought she would marry Harry as soon as she returned home, but now it is all in vain.

Staring at Lucy, he knew that he have to let her face something independently, even if he was reluctant to do that.

“Lulu, are you really ready for your return this time?”

“Grandpa, I know what I should do.” Lucy nodded In the future, I will let you move back to Young Garden."

“I know you can, but I still hope someone can be a better supporter for you.” Sam has already had a plan.

“What do you mean by that?” Lucy didn't understand that.

“I've talked to Jim Calvin, and I asked him to approve your marriage with Sean.” Old Sam’s word shocked Lucy.

"No! I disagree." Lucy never thought about getting marry with Sean.

"Lulu, listen. I'm doing this for your own good. Besides, the scandal about you and him have been blazed across this city. I think it's good to get married at this time." He had a plan, while he always worried about how to tell Lucy, but he really didn't expect that as soon as Lucy returned home, she would make headlines.

“Grandpa, am I still your granddaughter? Don't you know who Sean is?” Lucy felt depressed when she thought of Sean.

“Lulu, I've met countless people for so many years.” Old Sam looked at Lucy. “I can see that Sean is more suitable for you than Harry. Besides, haven't you separated from Harry? Listen to me. It won’t be wrong.”

Lucy left the nursing home. She was driving absently. She knew that when she had just returned home, she caused the crisis of Young Company. Therefore, the old Sam's arrangement was a proper one. Even if she took over Young Company, she would be alone and helpless. But here’s the thing. Would Sean be willing to accept such a marriage?

Old Jim sent someone to take Sean home.

“Grandpa, what are you doing?” Sean looked at the five tough men standing beside him. The old man’s action was extraordinary.

“What do you think? You think it's all right to hide from such a serious scandal?" Jim has been waiting for Sean to come back and explain it, but he has been hiding for several days. He didn’t even call back, so he can only send someone to “invite” him back.

“Grandpa, if you want me to come back, just call me. It is unnecessary to do so many things.” Sean tilted his legs, leaned against the sofa leisurely.

“I'm afraid you won't come back if you know this good news, so I can only do that.” Since Old Jim wanted to connect Young family with Calvin family, he was naturally happy.

Sean always had a bad feeling when he looked at the smile on his face.

“Grandpa, I'm a little tired, so I went upstairs. Please enjoy your good news.” Sean wanted to escape.

“Stop!” As soon as the old man spoke, the bodyguards stopped him.

“Sean, you will stay at home honestly these days and make good preparations for your marriage.”

“Grandpa, are you kidding me? I don't even have a serious girlfriend. Who am I married to?” Sean thought it was a big joke.

“I won’t joke with you about this kind of thing.” Old Jim looked serious. “I know that you don't have any serious girlfriends and there are a lot of indecent women. Therefore, I’ve arranged a marriage for you to take care of yourself. It's time to work for the company."

“Grandpa, why did you go back on your word? Didn't you say I did not have to go to work in the company? I'm very busy.” Sean was not curious about who the old man arranged for him to marry. Anyway, he didn't want to.

“What are you busy with? You are busy flirting with women every day? That's settled then. I has the final say in this family.” When the old man finished speaking, he got up and went back to his room.

Sean wanted to say something, but he was stopped.
