After scanning the environment for the second time tonight, whilst looking for the werewolf that had infiltrated my domain, I jumped into the room through the window.

I do that all the time. I found it easier to get into the room that way. Also, I loathed using the doorway.

I sighted Artemisia on the bed, fast asleep.

I felt awful for hitting her. I never had a reason to do so to any of the women I had been with before.

Besides, she had made me do it because it wasn't my intention.
