"Looks like somebody's in a good mood today." Mel commented as I entered the kitchen. I didn't even realize I was humming until she mentioned it. After last night, it felt like a something heavy has been lifted off my chest.

"What are you doing?" I asked her. It's no use trying to deny it, it's probably written all over my face.

"Duh, isn't it obvious? I'm cooking." Mel rolled her eyes at me. As if being in love suddenly made me dumb.
