I didn't know what to feel anymore.The pain I felt would not let go.I felt that kind of hurt that cuts right back through the protective layers of maturity.I opened the faucet and rinsed my face, trying so hard to resist the tears that were pricking my eyes.How could he lie to me? I thought we were friends.I thought he trusted me.The silly thing is that when I saw him everything seemed whole, whimsical and perfect.
