"You should wipe off that grim look, Alpha Kaden." A teasing voice wafted into my ears.

I narrowed my eyes at the owner. It was Detlef, Alpha Aurel's Beta. I had woken up on the wrong side of the bed today, and could the day get any worse?

I was stuck in the same car with Detlef. It was already an incredible feat that I hadn't strangled him.

"I believe we aren't close enough for you to tell me what to do." I retorted.

"Well, I believe the Prinzessin wouldn't like to see that look on you." He shrugged, turning his gaze away.
