"There's no need for....." Kai tried to retort but he stopped talking when Mrs. Lana gave him a sharp glare.

"Thank you so much, Lana," I said and she waved her hand in dismissal

"It's nothing" She scoffed. "I'm happy you both are getting back together" She turned to me- I immediately had an idea what she wanted to say, so I cut in before she could say it. "I'm not gonna leave this time"

I was saying this both to Mrs. Lana and myself, I'm not gonna leave- not this time, not ever. Marriage is for better and for worse, and if Kai willingly took me back...
