As I had expected, Mr. Matthew was furious. "Leaving work without taking an excuse is not tolerable and you know it" he roared

"I do, that's why I came with this" I passed the letter to him, and he eyed me suspiciously before opening the envelope, I observed how his eyes widened when he read the contents of the letter- he looked up at me with parted lips

"What is this?" He asked

"It's my resignation letter. I just broke one of the school's rules and as you said, it's intolerable" I said and he sighed, folding the letter and putting it back into the envelope
