"Sir, you don't have to" the girl tried to speak but I stopped her

"Your name?"

"Laine" she replied

"Laine, get the clothes and shoes you want, pieces of jewelry? Pick any"

The staff scoffed in amusement. "Who do you think you are, demanding for my manager and trying to start something you can finish? Don't you think it's time to give up before you'll not be able to take the shame anymore?"

"Laine, get moving" And she did, she walked to the clothing line and turned to me, unsure I meant what I said
