“You're ready for tomorrow night?” asked Terrence before we fell asleep.

I was ready to close my eyes but I was struggling to sleep. I feel a little uneasy, yet I don't understand what makes me uneasy like this. I just feel impatient for my second  heat.

“Why don't you sleep?” asked Terrence.

“I can't sleep.”

“What are you thinking about?” asked Terrence once more.

“I didn't think of anything. But if you're curious I'll tell it. I'm thinking about some things I'm going to do tomorrow,” I said.

“You just have to relax,” Terrence retorted. “I'll accompany you. You don't have to worry.”

“I'm not worried, I'm just curious...
