I made my way to Terrence's location after finishing my shower, and found him sitting on the balcony of my room, engrossed in a book. He looked up, clearly taken aback by my sudden appearance. 

I attempted a somewhat awkward smile in response.

He gestured for me to sit beside him, and placed the book on the table. 

"Have you eaten dinner yet?" Terrence asked, his voice gentle.

"Not yet," I replied.

He nodded thoughtfully, a hint of amusement on his face. 

"Perhaps we should have dinner first? I'm sure you must be starving," he suggested, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he set the book down.
