Kayla could immediately tell from the way Nyx was looking at her that she wasn't pleased to see her talking to Callan at such a time. Instead of going to meet them Nyx angrily went back to her room.

She couldn't stop pacing around the room, it felt like Kayla was doing everything intentionally because she was in her room a few minutes ago and all of a sudden she's downstairs having a conversation with Callan.
