I took off my clothes completely in the bathroom and went to the basin to wash up.

I used a wet towel to wipe the wounded area and then went into the bathtub

Maybe 20 minutes in would help..

I rested my head and shut my eyes closed balanced in a tub of cold water and little ice blocks in it.
